Savor Spring Herbs at 2nd Annual Inn to Inn Herb Tour

Participants learn history, growing ideas, and take home recipes of tasty treats, plus potted herbs or seeds, just in time for spring planting, June 5-6, 2010.

Each of 13 inns will focus on one herb, and will offer delicious samples of one or more special recipe using the herb from their own kitchen garden. It might be a taste of tomato basil soup, carrot-chervil dip, sage biscuits, tarragon egg salad, or rosemary chocolate cookies. You’ll go home with a folder of new recipes, interesting herbal lore and pots of herbs or seeds to grow on your own.  By the end of the tour, you will know how to grow an herb garden.

Price:  A 2 night stay, including a full breakfast and 2 tickets to this popular activity, is $250(plus tax/tip); add dinner for two on Saturday night for $50 more. Looking for a shorter stay? One night, including a full breakfast for two, starts at $150.
